April 23 - What’s new!

It's been a busy few weeks at Delta, here's

what we've been up to:

• Our coaching team and one of our parent supporters have updated their first aid qualifications and are now qualified in Full Paediatric First Aid

• We supported over 250 children with Spring holiday gymnastics and activities over the Easter break in conjunction with Swindon Borough Councils Holiday Activity Fund

• We are planning for our move to Groundwell, more details to follow soon

• The trials for the development and competition squads will take place next week in your gymansts normal session, all you need to do is tell us if they are interested in trialling. All existing squad members will be included in the trials. The new senior development squad on a Monday will be 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the existing development squad will continue at 4.30pm to 6pm and the Competition squad will still be 6pm to 8pm on a Tuesday

• We are working closely with British Gymnastics to understand more about their Academy programme for coaching support opportunities for the 11 to 16 age group, a few of our older gymnasts have enquired about getting some experience with coaching, once we have all the details and have designed our approach we will contact you direct, if you haven't said you're interested but are keen let us know

• Plans for our competition on the 11th November with Nemos Gymnastics, have started so please put the date in your diary!
