Our club competition which is over the weekend of 7th and 8th March is proving very popular. If your gymnast wishes to take part then please book your place via the club shop Closing date for entries is 23rd February No late entries will be excepted

Reminder that the gym will be closed on the following days Wednesday 18th Feb Thursday 19th Feb Friday 20th Feb Saturday 21st Feb Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th Feb the sessions are running as normal. We will then be open back up on Monday 23rd when hopefully we will have a nice new resurfaced car park. This weekend due to us running catch up sessions it means that we are expecting a lot more traffic on site. There is workmen onsite this morning carrying out groundwork’s in preparation for the resurfacing. This work will involve Lorry’s coming on and off site We would ask if possible, could people park at the front of the site and walk gymnasts down to the gym. Good morning This week is going to see a lot more groundwork’s being carried out in the car park and the entrance road in. There is going to be additional trenches dug etc so please be very mindful when coming in and out. If are you able to park out the front of the site and walk down to the gym then that would be helpful as reducing the amount of cars coming in and out would be great. This year now we have a bigger gym , we are going to do our first 4 piece club competition, bars, beam, vault & floor This is open for all gymnasts at delta to join in. All Wednesday sessions are cancelled Unfortunately we are having to remain closed for another night due to no power onsite. This is due to a contractor working for the site owners cutting through the main cables to the site. We are hoping to be able to open on Thursday

This evening our car park is expected to very busy due to an extra session running at 6pm Please be patient when entering and exiting the car park and if you can park sensibly around the outside where possible. This Saturday 24th January the car park at the front of the site ( just off the road ) is having the lines painted. Our access from the road to the barrier will not be affected but under no circumstances must we park/ leave a vehicle in that area. Obviously that area isnt parking for Delta anyway and we know that no one would park there, but we have been asked by our landlord to communicate it anyway. Also there is going to be some external work carried out in the main car

On Friday 23rd January we are holding a try out session for our Display team. In the Display Team you learn, team work, performance skills, dance, acro and tumbling plus having fun and progressing your gymnastics skills! If your gymnast is interested in trying for the team let us know and we will share more information with you.

Due to the cold temperatures and the new premises being larger and not as warm as the old one, please make sure your gymnasts comes with a hoodie/jumper and cuffed tracksuit bottoms that are suitable to wear during their session. We don’t recommend flared bottoms as they aren’t suitable to wear. We would also recommend wearing grippy socks to train in if needed. Please don’t send them in fluffy socks as they won’t be able to wear them due to the mess they make on the carpeted
